The Secure Pixie Enterprise uses virtualization and security technology designed to address risks and limitations inherent in secure socket layer (SSL) virtual private networks  (VPNs), Internet protocol security (IPSec) VPN, and endpoint security. Booting without activating a computer’s hard drive allows the program to run without altering the host.  Security options set by administrators include the prevention of file transfers to removable media, site-locking of web browsers, and restriction of network file transfers.

Using Blue Ridge Networks’ doorway computing technology allows the user access to data-leak-free cloud computing, employee social networking, partner access to resources without data leakage, and remote access from an employee computer. The software also allows remote access from public kiosk and identity and data protection for online banking.

Secure Pixie Enterprise works with Microsoft Virtual Desktop servers, Microsoft Virtual Application servers, Citrix Xen servers, and browser-based thin-client servers.

Quick Specs
